Trip to BRAZIL: Hand Picking Granite

One of our suppliers, PMI International Stone Importers, who is an importer of natural stone slabs from around the world took a trip to Brazil.  Here’s what Emily told us in an email after her trip:

I attached a few photos of my travels. I am so anxious to share my experience with you. It is so important to go to the factories and hand pick materials. It gave me an opportunity to see what is out there in the market, new and unique, so we can stay cutting edge in the industry and pass this along to you. We found very nice Super White which I know is such a hot item right now! You will also see some scenic photos of the mountains in Cachoeiro where a lot of the factories are located. I could go on forever! It is so nice to be home and back in contact with my customers. Please let me know how I can assist. I am here at your service.

 P.S.

I thought the forklift photo was funny. He was driving on a busy highway in Vitoria. I guess that is how he gets around; using a forklift as a form of transportation!

Now there’s a stone savvy supplier who cares to be cutting edge.  Let’s look at her pictures and see what she discovered in Cachoeiro, Brazil.

Oh, the things you see when you travel.  This appears to be someone using a forklift as transportation.
Beautiful Emily!  Thank you for sharing some of your trip with us.  We can’t wait to see more of the stone that you bring into the states.    We love to be “cutting edge” too.  Pun intended!   ;)

Cool pics, it seems like every time I look up the origin of a stone it’s quarried from Brazil!
