Stone Showcase: And the winner is?

Every Thursday we’ll showcase one of our customers with their shopping experience from beginning to end.

***********************************************************************************************************************

Last week we introduced Mary Anne and Bruce from Hershey, PA who came in looking for granite counter tops and a new back splash to give their kitchen an updated look. If you missed it you can read that here.

With the cabinet now in hand, they narrowed the search down to two granites that they had chosen:

Typhoon Bordeaux

Absolute Cream

Mary Jane suggested that they decide on one of the granites before we begin the next step – the search for the right tile back splash to go with the cabinets and the natural stone. The winner was – Typhoon Bordeaux. Mary Jane and I both agreed that either one was going to be a winning choice. Both the Typhoon Bordeaux and the Absolute cream looked fabulous with their cabinets.

Now to decide on the tile, we headed throught the doors over to our tile showroom. Mary Anne knew that she liked and wanted the subway style tiles. Subway tiles come in natural stone, ceramic, glass and porcelain or a combination of each. With a sample of the Typhoon Bordeaux in hand, the search began. And the winner of the tile was a simple glass tile, subway shaped, creamy in color from Hakatai . We took the cabinet, the newly chosen tile and placed them next to the granite. Guess what? The tile went with both the slabs of granite!

Absolute Cream Typhoon Bordeaux

Well, Mary Jane will work on the quote. Mary Anne and Bruce will do some research and think more about which combination they want. Stay tuned for the final decision! What would you pick?
