Stone Showcase: Lisa and Paul’s Kitchen After

Every Thursday we’ll showcase one of our customers with their shopping experience from beginning to end.

                                                     ************************

If you missed last weeks before pictures of Lisa and Paul’s kitchen, you should go here in order to truly appreciate the transformation!  Please realize this is still a work in progress.  There are tiles to choose for the back splash, new flooring to decide upon, and other things to do.  In the meantime, here are the after the counter-top replacement pictures.  The pictures are clockwise in the kitchen with a few close ups at the end.

Wow, what a transformation?  Classic, classy, and chic is how I would sum it up.

Lisa and Paul used a granite called Blue Pearl in their kitchen.  A section of their counter-top was done about a year ago.  It is advisable that if you do natural stone counter-tops in stages, you pick a granite that will be easy to find again at a later date.  Or better yet, buy all the material you need and save the left over for finishing the job later.  They were lucky to find a really good match.  Many times you’ll find shade variations in a stone with the same name.   Remember it transformed naturally; man just extracted it, cut it and polished it.  Want to see how it all starts with a quarry in action?  Check out this cool  video here.
