What’s 10 foot tall, 5 foot wide and only 6mm thick?

It’s one colossal sheet of tile and it’s here! We now have a sheet of this tile in stock for you to view. In case you missed my previous post on this ENORMOUS tile several weeks ago, here you go:

So what makes a tile, a tile? Well, it’s not length or width. It’s the thickness. This “tile” is only 6mm thick. But as you can see; it’s huge! Being 10 foot tall and 5 foot wide makes it the biggest tile I’ve ever seen. Why would you want a tile that big? Because you don’t want to see any grout lines. You could throw that colossal tile up on a wall and it will look like a “slab” of stone. But the great thing is, it’s thin! Another surprise is that this is porcelain, yet it does look like a natural stone with the veins and movement. Frank, our owner, found this unusual colossal “tile” at the huge event called “Coverings, The Ultimate Tile + Stone Experience”. Stone Peak Ceramics is the company that showcased these colossal tiles and we will soon have them available to our customers too.

So what would this look like installed and where could you, would you, put it in your home? Let’s imagine the applications and how it would look using something like this with no grout lines or seams. Now these below are not that particular product, but they are similar in the concept of having something seamless in a tile application.
